NYC Pride Announces Official 2018 Events

Organized by NYC Pride, this year hosts a full calendar of official LGBTQIA+ Pride events in New York City from June 14-24, 2018. With more than 2.1 million spectators in 2017, this year’s Pride schedule offers a host of events for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Human Rights Conference, Thursday June 14, 8am, SUNY Global Center. NYC Pride’s first ever Human Rights Conference, in partnership with SUNY, provides a unique opportunity for a global dialogue about human rights. Keynote by Aisha C Moodie Mills and UN Asst. Sec. General for Human Rights Andrew Gilmour.

Game Changers, Friday June 15, 8pm, SVA Theatre. NYC Pride’s Game Changers, in partnership with GLAAD, focuses on the success, tenacity, and visibility of the trans community. Moderated by Diana Tourjée along with Amiyah Scott, Jamie Clayton, and Brian Michael Smith.

Pride Luminaries Brunch, Sunday June 17, 12pm, David Burke Kitchen. Entering its sixth year, NYC Pride and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce honor inspiring LGBTQIA+ business leaders.

OutCinema, Monday June 18 - 20, 7:30pm, SVA Theatre. In partnership with NewFest and the SVA Theatre, NYC Pride presents a new three-day format to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride and community in film.

Family Movie Night, Tuesday June 19, Doors open: 6:30pm / Movie Start 8:30pm, Hudson River Park’s Pier45. Featuring an enchanting family-friendly screening of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Hosted by Miss Richfield 1981.

Savor Pride, Thursday June 21, 6pm, God’s Love We Deliver. NYC Pride & God’s Love We Deliver present anew culinary experience exploring the world of barbecue. Featuring chefs: Amanda Freitag, Michael Anthony, Zac Young, Lazarus Lynch, and Jake Cohen.

The Rally, Friday June 22, 5pm, in front of the Stonewall Inn. NYC Pride takes the Rally back into the streets. Community activists, organizers, and more will make their voices heard. Hosted by Danity Diamond.

Fantasy, Friday June 22, 10pm, Slate. In collaboration with Brian Rafferty Productions, this “Fantasy: LeatherEdition” themed event kicks off NYC Pride weekend. DJs Eddie Elias and Jared Conner.

Cosplay & Pride, Friday June 22, 6:00pm, Hudson River Park’s Pier 40. In partnership with Geeks OUT, NYC Pride presents its first cosplay event. Performance by Phi Phi O’Hara.

VIP Rooftop Party, Saturday June 23, 2pm, Hudson Terrace. NYC Pride and Brian Rafferty Productions present the eighth year of this exclusive rooftop party. DJs Boris, Dani Toro, J Warren.

Teaze HER, Saturday June 23, 5pm, The DL. NYC Pride’s official Saturday event exclusively for women is back for another year, in partnership with HER.

Masterbeat: Game Show, Saturday June 23, 10pm, Hammerstein Ballroom. Masterbeat invites partygoers to grab their hard hats and help build, MASTERbuilt.

Youth Pride, Saturday June 23, 12pm, 14TH Street Park. A fun, free experience for LGBTQIA+ and ally teens that includes entertainment, interactive games, and more. Performance by Bea Miller.

Pride Island – Saturday, Saturday June 23, 2pm, Hudson River Park’s Pier 97. The first day of Pride Island, features live performances by “Habits (Stay High) ” singer Tove Lo, along with Lizzo, Big Freedia, Simon Dunmore, Sasha Velour, and DJ Dawson,.

NYC Pride March, Sunday June 24, 12pm, formation at 16th Street and 7th Ave. The world’s best-known LGBTQIA+ Pride event, the 49th NYC Pride March will be led by Grand Marshals: Billie Jean King, Lambda Legal, Tyler Ford, and Kenita Placide. This year’s March will also broadcast live on ABC7 from 12-3pm. Press conference with Grand Marshals at 10:30am.

PrideFest, Sunday June 24, 11am, University Place b/w 13th St. and Waverly Pl. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, PrideFest attracts hundreds of thousands of locals, out-of-state visitors, families, local business owners and community leaders. Television personality, Ross Mathews, will host this year’s free, LGBTQIA+street festival.

Femme Fatale, Sunday June 24, 4pm, Hudson Terrace. Presented by NYC Pride, Stacy of Stonewall, Kate of LovergirlNYC, SPICENYC, and Cynthia Russo, Femme Fatale is the official Sunday event for women. DJs: RosyQ, Mary Mac, and Tatiana. Hosted by Madison Paige.

Pride Island – Sunday, Sunday June 24, 2pm, Hudson River Park’s Pier 97. The next evolution of the legendary Dance on the Pier and last day of Pride Island, DJs Grind, Ralphi Rosario, and Corey Craig will open the space. Pop superstar, Kylie Minogue, will close out Sunday’s Pride Island.
